| dc.description.abstract | Cet article présente des éléments d’une enquête de terrain portant sur la condition noire de jeunes afrodescendants évoluant dans la région urbaine de Liège (Belgique). Le concept de transaction sociale peut être mobilisé pour analyser les contacts mixtes raciaux. Je montre ici la « fécondité heuristique » du concept de transaction sociale : il complète utilement différentes notions d’Erving Goffman et il rencontre l’idée que les transactions sociales sont de nature à permettre à chacun de trouver sa place. Dans ce cadre, je présente une réflexion portant sur la possibilité de transactions sociales identitaires entre des individus se considérant ou étant considérés comme noirs et des personnes associées au groupe majoritaire blanc à travers l’étude d’une danse urbaine : le krump. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstracten | This paper examines elements of a field study on the black condition of young Afro-descendants living in the urban region of Liege (Belgium). The concept of social transaction appears useful for analyzing racial mixed contacts. I show here the "heuristic fruitfulness" of the concept of social transaction, which usefully complements various Erving Goffman’s notions: social transactions are likely to allow each person to find his or her place. In this context, I present a reflection on the possibility of social identity transactions between individuals who consider themselves and/or are considered as black, and people associated with the white majority group, through the study of an urban dance: the krump. | en_US |
